Annual audit? Not for another 2 years!
Unlike other manufacturers, the annual inspection of Rau measuring devices is only due every two years.
This saves you time and money and allows you to use your tester without annual interruptions.
We will check, calibrate, service and maintain your measuring device in our on-site workshop in Meitingen within around 10 days.
It will then be fully operational again for the next 24 months.

When is my next annual audit due?
This allows you to quickly and easily determine yourself when you should send your appliance in for its next annual inspection:
Test report (A4 sheet of paper): You will receive a test report upon purchase and for each annual test.
There you will find the date of the last inspection of the measuring device and the next annual inspection due.
You can also find the serial number of your device there.
Test sticker on the meter: A silver inspection sticker (round sticker) is attached to the inside of your meter.
The month and year of the next due annual inspection are marked with holes.

How to get your device to us
You have several options for sending your device to us.
Choose the method that suits you best:
Specialist dealer: Contact the specialist dealer from whom you purchased your tester. They will inform you about the necessary steps.
Own shipping: You can pack your measuring device, take it to the post office and send it directly to us.
Please ensure that you pack your device correctly and enclose all the necessary information (see next paragraph "Packing instructions"):

Collection order: DHL will collect your measuring device directly from you. To do this, we issue a collection order on our website for this purpose. Please complete the form and prepare your measuring device for shipping (see next paragraph "Packing instructions").
We will support you every step of the way to make the transfer as smooth as possible.

Packing instructions: Shipping the device safely
How to prepare your device for shipping:
Robust packaging: Use a sturdy cardboard box for transportation.
In the package: Please place your measuring device and all accessories in the box and store them safely.
Data: Please enclose the following information:
- Company address / name
- Work order (e.g. annual inspection or repair)
- Serial number of your measuring device (see videos "Where can I find my serial number DPG07?" or "Where can I find my serial number DPG02?")
- Date of the next annual audit due (see paragraph above "When is my next annual audit due?"
- Exact fault description for repair
Do you need a rental device?
While your device is with us for an annual inspection or repair, we don’t want to let you down.
That’s why we offer you the option of using a replacement device.
This allows you to continue your work without interruption.
To receive a replacement device, please complete the online form Request for loan equipment form.
Note: Loan devices are reserved for customers who already own a RAU measuring device and are only issued for the duration of the repair and subject to availability.
