Where can I find the serial number and next test date?
The serial number is located under the printer cover of your measuring device. The next test date can be found on the test seal. This silver sticker is affixed to your measuring device computing unit.

The rental item is in perfect technical condition upon delivery.
The rental item is charged at a flat rate of € 37.50 for measuring devices or € 29.50 for WPS cable/radio plus freight of € 10.00 plus VAT for the duration of the customer device being inspected by us (usually max. 14 days). The rental item must be returned to us no later than 3 days after return of the repaired customer device. If you have the rental device collected by RAU GmbH, a fee of € 8.00 plus VAT will be charged. If the rental item is not properly returned to us after this time, the rental price will be increased by € 10.00 per day plus VAT until it is received by us at the factory. The day of delivery will not be charged here. If the rental item is not returned after a period of 2 weeks despite a request to do so, the lessor is entitled to charge the current value for the replacement.

General terms and conditions for the rental of gas testing equipment:

All prices are subject to the applicable value added tax.
The protocol drawn up on handover and return of the appliance shall determine the contractual condition of the rental item.
Offsetting against our claims with disputed or not legally established counterclaims is excluded.
The lessor shall send the rented item to the lessee on the agreed date. We are not liable for damage for which we are not responsible due to the transportation route.
In the event of a defect in the rented item, we shall not be liable for any consequential costs. We expressly reserve the right to rectify the defect.
The tenant is not permitted to repair or modify test devices or measuring devices.
Defective or missing parts from the rental item will be charged to the hirer.
Any claim for damages, in particular for consequential damages, is expressly excluded.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the agreed rental price must be paid within 10 days of the invoice date to the landlord's specified payment office.
Should one of the above conditions be or become ineffective, the provision that comes closest to the intended economic purpose of the effective provision in a legally permissible manner shall be deemed to have been agreed. The validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Important notes

Estimated processing time: The review or annual review usually takes about 10 working days after receipt of the mail. We always endeavor to keep this period short for you.
Shipping costs: For collection and return of the packaged test device, we charge a flat rate of EUR 18 plus VAT per package (Germany). VAT per package (Germany). Collection is carried out by the parcel service provider DHL within 1-3 days of the order being placed. Collection of the packaged test device should be guaranteed by the customer between 08:00 and 20:00. We can only arrange collection from Germany. Other countries are not possible.
Insurance: Your shipment is protected against loss on its way to us up to a value of EUR 500. However, there is no insurance against transport damage.
Correct packaging: Please send the goods in the original cardboard box or in a shock-resistant and shippable box with sufficient transport protection. If the device is damaged in transit from you to us, you must pay for this damage yourself. Shipments that are unpacked or inadequately packed, e.g. only appliance cases without outer packaging, will NOT be accepted. All costs incurred due to transportation damage are to be borne by the sender.
Data on the measuring device: Rau GmbH accepts no liability for data or documents that have not been saved externally or for third-party material sent in.
